During the period of time that celebration of public Mass is temporarily suspended, I will be offering a private Mass regularly, and specifically on Sundays for the special intentions of our parish family. And I will continue to make my Sunday sermon available each week. [Fr Bradford’s sermons are here.]

Although normal visits to shut ins are suspended, Viaticum is always available to the gravely sick and dying. Funeral Masses are permitted. Churches will be open for prayer, and where possible, for adoration. Check locally.

The parish paper, Contra mundum, for April will contain notices of previously scheduled services. But please note the suspension of public worship services may continue to be in effect.

During this emergency, you may send your normal church monetary offerings to my attention at 10 St Theresa Avenue, West Roxbury, MA 02132 (or where appropriate, to Kevin McDermott at his home). Remember that operating expenses continue even during a pandemic!

Please do keep medical personnel, public health officials, and priests, in your prayers as they risk exposure to Covid-19 while bringing relief, comfort, and solace to those who are sick.
