The Congregation of Saint Athanasius is a chaplaincy of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston dedicated to the Anglican Use of the Roman Rite, which preserves elements of the Anglican liturgical tradition within the Catholic Church. We are made up both of converts from the Episcopal Church and life-long Catholics drawn to our liturgy and music.
We also serve the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter. Members of the former Saint Gregory the Great Ordinariate Community have been worshipping with us since the retirement of their Pastor in October, 2016.
Since we were joined by the Saint Gregory the Great Community, we have been using Divine Worship: The Missal as our pew missal, which you can view here.
Please read more about our history and publications by Fr. Bradford and our parishioners.
