Catholic Night at Fenway Park, Tuesday, July 10th
Join with other parishes for the Boston Red Sox fifth annual Catholic Night at historic Fenway Park on July 10th. Enjoy a special Catholic ceremony before the Boston Red Sox take on the Texas Rangers.
We will be in Section 3 of the right field box. Price is $60 per ticket (service charge not included). If you want to go please let Corrine Paige know as soon as possible so she can buy your ticket.
Special Screening of Summer in the Forest, Thursday, July 12th
Fellow parishioner, Corrine Paige brings news of a rare opportunity: the only showing in the Boston area of Summer in the Forest, a documentary about the Catholic Apostolate L’Arche for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in France in 1964.
Please join us as we learn about and support the local L’Arche Community by attending this one night special screening July 12th from 6:30-8:30 pm, at the AMC Loews Methuen 20 & IMAX, 90 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA.

Gala Concert of Sacred Choral Music, Friday, August 3rd
Saint John’s Seminary hosts a gala concert of Sacred Choral Music from the Spanish Renaissance on Friday, August 3rd at 7:30 pm in the seminary chapel at 127 Lake Street in Brighton. The concert is presented by the 43-voice choir of Early Music Academy Boston, who are wrapping up a week of intensive study and rehearsal with guest tutors Andrew Carwood, Janet Coxwell, and David Woodcock. Featured works include Requiem by Victoria, and motets by Guerrero, Padilla, and Vivanco. he concert is open to the public and free, although donations are appreciated. Parishioner Janet Hunt is the seminary music director and administrator for the course, as well as a member of the choir.
Lowell Spinners Baseball Game, Tuesday, August 7th
On Tuesday, August 7th, The Lowell Spinners take on Vermont in Minor League Baseball. The game starts at 6:35 pm and tickets are inexpensive. The Lowell Spinners are the Red Sox Class A minor league team.

Organ Recital at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall, Wednesday, August 22nd
On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, organist Dong-Ill Shin will present an organ recital at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall, 192 Broadway, Methuen, Mass. The recital starts at 8:00 pm, with doors opening at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $12.00.
Shin is the winner of the 20th Grand Prix de Chartres, and has been hailed as “one of the world’s most promising talents of his generation”. He made his debut at the age of 11 years with the Pusan Philharmonic Orchestra playing Mozart’s Concerto in D minor No. 20. He has received many awards and has several notable performances and recitals to date (Europe, Asia and North America).You can read more about him here.
